Anyone install a crank on a Matrix 380 ?

I have a Matrix 380 that I like very much. I have killed lots of deer with it, and have great confidence in that crossbow. I have an opportunity to buy another 380 from a friend who has drank the Raven Crossbow Kool aid, and will sell his. My wife will be taking up crossbow hunting this year. She is unable to cock my 380. According to information on the Excalibur website, there is a crank available for the 380. Having two crossbows using the same bolts, strings, etc. would make my life easier.

I use the new one on mine, had to drill the holes for the Charger mount plates, but it was very easy. If you want to you could share the crank, you just need an extra set of mounting plates. I have used the older model, it's a bit chunky, but you can find them cheap.

I installed the Charger ext crank on my Matrix 355 by drilling 2 holes on the side of the stock, very easy mod to do.

The only thing is with a longer models like the Matrix 380 you do need to pull the string up to the hooks. Its not a big issue but one guy gave me a hard time about it so I like to make sure everybody is aware of it.

I replaced the cord on my Charger EXT with a slightly longer one so I can use the same crank on a 308 Short all the way up to my old Vortex. Super simple to add the blocks onto the old stocks, and cord replacement was super easy too. Plenty of room on the spools yet.
