FASTENER QUERY

.....are the fasteners on the new AXE 340 AND the A360 which are both micro's the same as the previous micros?

.....contemplating putting titanium on there and don't want to order what I dont need.

I can tell you that a magnet will stick to the fasteners on an axe which tells me they are not titanium.

Yes they are all the same aside from the riser mounting bolt.

FOLLOW UP QUERY.....anyone know what is the size/type of the bolt which fastens the riser to the frame?

That bolt is a 5/16"-18 X 2.25" .....per Peter!

......just spoke to Noel @ Ti64....they have the bolt that connects the riser to the mainframe. They would be willing to swap out this one bolt for the 2 that connected the original micro riser to the main frame and adjust the price.......

.....so I just removed one bolt strap fastener from the AXE and tried to replace it with one I had previously bought from Ti64......well it is different.
The one on the AXE DOES NOT have a shoulder on it and the one previously bought for other Micros does.....and the shoulder is too wide hence it is rendered unusable for the AXE....

.....So I think we need to get a complete list of the New Axe fastener nomenclature to insure that if one wants to purchase replacement fasteners they will, in fact, be correct and fit!

I replied via PM, but I assume the TI kit was put together before excalibur started using the 1/8" socket cap screw and ferrel spacer.

Otherwise the hardware for the axe aside from the riser bolt is the same as a NON BD micro
