Nothing is strip resistant is you to not seat the driver. If I had an apprentice that simply put in an allan socket or torx socket into a fastener and proceeded to round off the screw, I'd beat him like he should have beat the socket.

No sorry, I meant in the time since you've bought new bows they have started lock tighting everything from factory. Your assassins may not have locktight on the scope mounts. But your axes most surely do. Before they were relatively easy to remove, now you MUST follow Boos techniques and or add a bit of heat just in case it doesn't plan to come out on you LOLamythntr wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 10:04 am....why would I have had the reason to remove them in the past?.....the only reason I could think about Chris would have been to apply shrink wrap over the arra retainer....janesy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 6:01 pmAnthony, you probably haven't had to remove them since they started applying locktite from factory. I now hit the heads with a small butain torch before I remove them, (following Boo's advice/techniques above) that way there is no guessing whether of not they have sealant applied.
I did have one strip out on me earlier this year, and I was able to remove it by cutting a slot into it for a screwdriver. But again, as the screw was weaker now, I heated it up so there was no resistance and it slipped right out.
..... I think i am just going to remove all of them and change out to the Ti64 titanium!
