ok whats the "proper" way to store an exalibur during the off season.
Is it better for the limbs to unstring the bow ?
Or is it better to leave the string on?

I never unstring my bow. I shoot it all year long though. Just store in a cool dry space out of sunlight.

Re: To string or unstring
I twist them up a turn or two if I'm going to be l leaving it a while. Otherwise they always stay strung

I'd be the guy to show up at the base of a tree with no string

Re: To string or unstring
I put the rope cocker on the string which I have pulled back a few inches off the bumpers, let it sit like that all winter. Never any issues with any of them.

Re: To string or unstring
I've done both after archery season till I start shooting again for spring gobbler. Doesn't make a difference . Mine is 6 years old I unstrung it once after archery season . I just leave it strung now wax string and serving and put her to bed till spring.
Re: To string or unstring
Besides being lazy, I leave mine on for the sake of a stable braceheight. Chris and Dan are in the know, either method of storage is better than just leaving it strung up like lazy ole me!
