New Excalibur on the way

Post by Shakibods »

Thanks to all the awesome posts on this forum. After two months of agonizing on which Excal to buy, I pulled the trigger today on a Micro 360 Pro TD-Dealer Special, with Charger EXT crank. I started the process by looking and hefting the 340 Mag up the the 400 Suppressor and finally made my choice based on the following: like the feel of the Pro trigger, figured since I was cranking might as well go for the extra speed, and since this is likely my last bow, figured the TD was just another nice feature (now I can store it in my safe). I dealt with Steve at Borkholder Archery in Milford, IN and he was extremely helpful. It arrives on Wednesday.

And to follow the tradition set by other members here, I have a younger friend who doesn't have a lot of disposable cash, so he will be the new owner of my Vortex and all of its accessories. It is a good thing to help out those hunters that are not as lucky as we are and I look forward to seeing how many deer he will harvest with it. I know he was always impressed by that Excal bow and he will treat it like gold.

Good luck to all this hunting season.

Congrats on your new bow and it will be interesting to see in the future if it truly is your last bow or if you get bitten by the bug like a lot of us lol

....congrats for sure on your new bow....betcha feel like a child at Christmas!......be very careful....never keep your bow near an open door....they have a tendency to sneak out.....and before you know you have another Excalibur in the crib.....I honestly don't know how I wound up with 4....

....also, and equally important...."continuing the Excalibur tradition of passing a bow down.....there is nothing like the feeling one has in helping someone for no reason other than you want to help!
