New property to hunt

Post by Reinyrooster »

I am excited as a kid the night before Christmas. We have new farms to hunt on this year that have never been hunted before, and have more deer on the trail cameras then I have ever seen on any trail camera.
We have a ground blind and a few tree stands set up, have my arrows all dressed up with broadheads, and can't wait for Thursday morning. Between surgeries and life getting in the way, it's been 5 years since I put venison in the freezer.
Got a doe tag so not gonna be too picky about which sex I shoot.....meat in the freezer is my goal this year.

.....RR It sounds like you might need a bigger freezer! :eusa-think:

..... nothing like feeling like a kid again when seeing a deer on camera or in the field.....do show us some pictures!

Glad to see everyone getting excited for the season. After that hiatus you gotta put one in the dirt. I dont know if it is the long Covid shutdown, or our new crossbow inclusion but I have never been more excited for opening day. The family is pumped too.
Good luck

It's always super exciting to hunt a new property. I have a few new places myself
With only one buck tag here I'm very patient and l will wait till the right one comes .
How do you know when the right one comes? You dont have to think about shooting him. At all!
Lol good luck and l hope you do well .be safe!!!
