Finally saw some deer this morning, two doe. I’m going to hit the road, bored to tears, and nothing really exciting going on. We have a warm spell coming in, so I am going to double check the guns over the next few days.

Good luck folks!

Checked trail cams today after voting!!
Had this guy on camera for the 1st time.

Not real big, but he do have a "drop" on one side!!
Perhaps I can help him with that problem!!

It’s been a slow start, or a fast one with the early cold weather here. By now I usually see bucks running doe around here, but it’s just not happening. The next big dip in temperature should be the kicker, and I’m clearing my schedule.

Good luck folks!

I'm near the end of a 6 week hunting hiatus but I went up to the farm Sunday to help a friend (who has land nearby) put up a 2 man quadrapod stand. It was 22 F. Monday morning and I saw a small buck rubbing a tree in front of my house as I sat inside drinking coffee. That afternoon I took my dog for a walk and saw a big buck. On the drive home there were quite a few dead deer on the roadside. After the cold start Monday morning our highs have been in the 70s every day. When it cools off next week things should be good. I'll be back out there with my rifle on the 14th.

I have a cell cam on my Grafton property and the bucks are coming to the food plot nose down and in some pics you see a doe come in and 10 minutes later there’s no doe but a buck nose down. But it’s all at night! Can’t wait for the cold weather!

You’ve never seen Anthony! If you catch him in a Speedo and a gar sticking out of his yap, you’re going to need bleach for your eyes.

Good luck, we're going to hit the farm out east of here for the first time. We NEVER bow hunt there, but me & the Kid think we have three great spots for the wind tomorrow morning. As much as I don''t like hunting when it's hot, it's still better than hunting in the rain!
