Deer Processing Places

Post by xcaliber »

Big shout out to Jay's Deer Processor in Valparaiso Indiana. We dropped the Kids buck off there Saturday afternoon, and picked up everything today, including sausages ordered. Everything vacuum sealed, labeled, and dated. We tried the Slim Jims they make, incredible! Fast turn around, and they had like 20 people working there, all business. I will take all my deer there in the future.

This is true! I got a thorough and complete bear dressing lesson this year(he did the whole thing, and I drank a Bear Hug IPA and watched) from Carnivorous.

I like to process my own deer so I get my meat back and not someone else's.

We needed a walk in cooler during the first controlled hunt. We had to get home and process like mad men!!! Lol the bright side is we still have one tag to fill with our bows!!

someone else do it without sticking my nose in!!!
I love teaching new people at my Hunt camps at my cottage. That is most enjoyable. And they leave with a new skill to use anywhere!!
