How much for a Vortex?

Post by Dominic »

Hey guys,
I have the chance to buy a Vortex. Brandnew but expensive! The dealer wants 819 Euro. That is 975 US $ or 1270 CAD. Yes, it is expensive, but normal here! Is it worth the money? Or should i be happy with my BD330 and Short 308.
This will be the last chance to get the bow here in germany. He has also an Exomax, but i would prefer the Vortex.
Thoughts?

Stay healthy!

The Vortex is a great crossbow, that’s a lot of $$ for one but you don’t have a lot of options. It’s easy to cock, and rock solid.
Good luck with your decision.

There is nothing the vortex won't do that your BD330 won't do just as well or better. Except maybe anchor your Pirate Ship.

Have your ever dropped the lower section of your climber and had to use that BD330 as a fixed wing glider to get back to the ground? A Vortex might just do the job. :D

I would buy a used one in the states or Canada and pay the shipping. Try Ebay in the U.S.

I think that considering the price for a Vortex that you have to pay, your 330 will be just fine. Get an extra set of limbs from Excalibur home office here in Canada and you’re good.

Hi, it's not possible to buy from ebay (US). In Germany you can't buy crossbows or any weapons on ebay/amazon & co.

Yep, i still have an extra set of limbs for both of my bows, my Ex-Micro 355 has learned me to own them.

I am in contact with Tyler, he has an nice offer and i think about it. I have the chance to shoot an Aximon this weekend, i think this will help me with the decision.

Viel Glück!
Vielen lieben Dank Don! Hat das deine Frau geschrieben oder du? :D

Update:

Today i have tested the Axiom from a friend. Now i know, i don't really need the longlimber. My BD330 has the best performance for me and i will stay with my two bows for first. I will save my money and look what will come out 2021. Thank you guys for the input and have a nice Advent season.
