O/T Christmas

Post by AJ01 »

Well folks...it's that time of year...again!! We, okay my wife, has spent the last few days "decorating" the house in anticipation of kids and grandkids arriving for the holidays. I've been trying to sneak off to fill that last tag of the season on Whitetails. But I keep finding myself in front of the fireplace with an adult beverage in my hand instead!

My bunch has a lot to be thankful for this year in spite of the Corona virus, elections and unrest in Our Country. First of all, my wife has now been cancer free for almost a year. I have a new grandson on the way that will be here in May of 2021. Everyone is safe! We all are secure in our homes with plenty to eat and lots of love to share!

At this moment, I'd like to wish ALL of you a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year!!!
GOD Bless you all!!

And yes you rubes...that's my den!!!    It's a good thing I have my "man cave"!!!!

Indeed we are living in "interesting times". COVID-19 has changed our social mores and how we conduct our everyday lives. Christmas this year will be a new experience. However, no matter the changes, folks are still resilient social "animals". As a whole, we will persevere and survive. Although 2020 has ushered in a "new normal", with positive thinking and determination I believe, with time, the normalcy that we knew will return. Meanwhile, let us make the best of the situation and celebrate Christmas for the blessings we do have. Let's be grateful and hope for better days to come.

Wishing one and all a Safe Holiday Season, and that 2021 will find us in good health and with renewed joy and happiness.

This has been a bad year but it could have been a lot worse for me. No one in my family has gotten the virus and no one I know has died from covid. AJ - I'm glad to hear that your wife is doing so well. Health problems are the worst problems.

We have a 4 month old grandson that we watch couple of days a week and I realize that I have much to be thankful for when he is sitting on my lap smiling at me. Hopefully, the sacrifices we have all made this year will be over soon and we can get back to normal sometime in 2021.

Everyone, please stay safe! We've made it this far and we don't want to end up like a soldier who is killed or wounded as the war is about to end. We'll really celebrate next year.

Merry Christmas and as Frank would say "Festivus for the rest of us."
Never violate a woman, nor harm a child. Do not lie, cheat or steal. These things are for lesser men. Protect the weak against the evil strong. And never allow thoughts of gain to lead you into the pursuit of evil.
