Yikes!

If he did that in Canada it would bevall over for him!!

If he had done that in South Carolina he would have likely been shot. Lots of concealed carry here...

In Canada, a gun call like that would have him put straight to the slammer with or without a visible gun.

Same here in The Lone Star State...EVERYBODY has a gun, except Liberals!!

Otis it GREAT to hear you escaped unharmed!!! Seems like it could have turned bad in a hurry!
The "person in question" needs to spend a little time in the "Gray Bar Hotel", plus have a large amount of cash removed from his pocket perhaps he'll then leave the booze alone, and stop harassing hunters!!
And if he's a "veteran" then he just gave folks that have served a huge "black eye". That's NOT how you handle a situation!! :eusa-naughty:
The world is full of crazies these days!!

Go to the courthouse and swear our a warrant for that guys arrest. The State guys should have arrested him and if he actually works for a judge that is probably why they backed off. He might actually shoot you next time if you don't take action.

i have stayed away from that spot as i can get in from a log landing we had off another road..that night i saw the look on the guys face he was in a rage i new to back out or i was going to be dead..i am a fighter a bar room brawler the gun and the 2-3/4" buck knife on my belt wasnt going to do the job..if the shoe was on the other foot id be in the can right know with a $10,000 lawyer bill and my
guns would be gone..state trooper said his word against mine they did not see it but off the record believe it happen as he admitted putting nasty note on my truck were it was parked and said he thought he owned all the 1,000 acres of conservancy land troopers had the hunt app and i had on x app clearly showing the guys land was 5 acers with a stone wall boarder. That night trooper showed me a mug shot of the guy asked if it was him i did not know for sure as it was dark he had a flood light behind him and mug shot showed a cleaner kept guy with a summer tan..today i am thinking i need to talk with the game warden ..trooper said guys not going to bother
me hes scared now go hunt there i said i would call warden next time trooper said no call us and we will come and bring warden in on it..rhode island is a mess at this point with huge tracks of land being cleared by wealthy developers from out of state building huge condo type neighbor hoods for people leavening ny,nj,ct and there bringing attitude with them

Whatever you do, don't let the altercation stop you from hunting that location. That was his only intent. If he could scare you into not hunting there, then it worked. Things like that really get under my skin. I'd make sure he knew that I wasn't going anywhere, but your plan to avoid contact with him is likely for the best. There's no reason to spend your time trying to catch him doing something wrong. We've got more important game to chase.
