WHY WOULD EXCALIBUR DO THIS?????

Post by amythntr »

....In redesigning their web page, Excalibur has just about "hidden" where to find the link to access the forum.....may I ask why?????

I asked myself the same question. I also asked why they removed the "Previous Models" page. I found that page to be very helpful when looking for used crossbows. Maybe it's a post-Bowtech, lets-forget-the-past-and-re-establish-the-new-Excalibur move?

And on a separate note, why didn't they wait until 1 April to introduce their latest crossbow?

Respectfully (and before I get banned),

....they have not removed it....they make it just about impossible for newcomers to find....and made it difficult for us old timers also!

Trust me...I questioned this a few weeks back. On the dreaded Interwebby it's not located on the homepage...where it was. (Actually it is, but just to the point you can't find the blasted thing. Moved from top of page to the bottom hidden under another title.) Anthony is correct, unless you do some looking on the homepage you'll never find the Forum. You'll see the link if you scroll down to the bottom and put your curser over "EXPERIENCE" on the lower left. I'm thinking it is a common way for webmasters to get you to look at content. Lord help us if someone changes the location of the toilet paper! They should have an internet for old fogies

Since you're not complaining I suppose "old fogies" refers just to those who've complained. :eusa-doh:

......my reason for the thread was, wouldn't Excalibur want people to find the forum and access it?

......this does just the opposite. If I was looking to see if they had a forum I would conclude fairly quickly that there was NO forum.

......us old fogies (those who have been members for a while) will search it out....new members might not!
