Can’t take down my TD

Post by Assassin1 »

I went to take down my 400TD last night and the blue button won’t budge. I’ve squirted WD40 on it and it is frozen. Any ideas?

Give the stirrup a good wack in the CLOSED direction and that should free it up. You may need a little pressure on the button to open it at the same time. Sounds like you need 5 hands but it's actually pretty easy to free them up.

Yep, pull on that blue thingy while you whack the stirrup in the closing/locking direction. Then put some grease on the contact surfaces that lock the 2 together so it doesn’t happen again.
