Checking in

Post by georgiaboy »

I hope everyone had a safe and successful season!!
I didn’t get to hunt this year past the second week of bow season. The first time in forty years I haven’t killed a deer. :(
My job made me an offer that was hard to refuse...so I accepted it. The only down side was I had to relocate. So I left the place where I was born and raised in Savannah Georgia and moved to just outside of Atlanta.
The biggest downside is finding somewhere to hunt. There’s a large WMA within 45 minutes of me, I think the name is Charles Elliot so I may start there. If anyone knows of any public land near McDonough Georgia please let me know.
Good luck and stay safe! :)

Good luck and congratulations on your promotion! I wish I could help on the hunting land search but you're about 500 miles away from where I am. You have some time and I hope you find a great place.

You around Newnan? Used to go there a lot when I was still working. Good luck with your hunting place and congrats on the promotion! I’m sure you’re going to get it all figured out soon.

Just about everyone you see in Atlanta has a gun and 99% do not have permits for them.
