Tactzone

Post by grizzly72 »

Just curious as I just bought a matrix 330 and there is a tactzone scope on it.. I’m gonna give it a try but I usually change out the factory scopes for a Leopold. My question about the tactzone is there any way to lock in the focus ring? Most scopes have a locking ring that you can tighten down. This doesn’t appear to have one? Thanks

Once the "speed ring" is dialed in you can lock it with the built-in set screw. Mine has never moved. TZ's are really a good scope. JMHO!!
The "Focus Ring" does NOT appear to have any way to "lock it" into place. However, mine is so tight it takes a good twist to get it to move at all.
I guess if you were to improve on the TZ it would be with a "lock ring" on the focus ring.
Other than that they are pretty solid.
