I don't know what it is like in Canada, but dealerships in Wisconsin are desperate for good used pickup trucks. My brother & dad have GMC & Chevy pickup trucks, & dealers are practically begging them to trade them in.

One salesman told my brother that he had access to 90 used pickup trucks at this time last year. Now, he had access to 6.

Average vehicle age in the States is now 11.9 years old. Looking at the prices of new vehicles, that doesn't surprise me.

Good luck with your search!

Good luck in your search a good used truck is hard to find then when you find one it’s almost as much as a new one. I’ve had two dealers contact me to try to buy my trucks I’m happy with what I’ve got and plan on keeping them for awhile.

550k on my 2011 toyota tundra average 100 miles a day still original engine n trans.
No plans of buying a new 50thousand dollar truck at this time.
My dad was a gm mechanic for 40 years l would not have a problem buying a used Toyota tacoma or tundra with 150k but not a gm.,Ford, or dodge.

I drove a 6L 2500HD for a few years. 12MPG whether is was full, empty, towing, hauling or plowing. It even got 12 MPG with a snow plow and a Lil' Tipster bed installed didn't make a difference. Good truck, we still have it in the fleet, but it's been done for a few years now.
