Jeez. It’s a shame that the US does all the crazy crap with OUR money, but really think about making this Country better. I’m not going political, just thinking that WE need to get smart people dealing with tough issues!

Hope you’re okay buddy, and God is on our side through this summer.

Natural fires are normal but too may idiots think they are entitled these days and rules don't apply to them.

High fire warnings for all forests but a few will have them anyway! No open flames. Whats that mean.

I'm in Denver Co. right now and its pouring ! We are headed to the N.Wisc. for the summer.

Leaving the 100+ for cooler weather. Here's official statement

Due to extremely high fire danger, exceptional drought conditions, resource availability, and increased fire activity, the Department of Forestry and Fire Management and the Arizona State Land Department will implement closures to State Trust Land throughout Arizona. These closures are also in conjunction with our USFS partners.

As of 8am on June 25, 2021, closures will be implemented on state-owned and managed lands in all 15 counties. All state-owned and managed lands are closed to entry for recreational purposes, including hunting, camping, and off-road vehicle use.

Funny before all this liberal bs came along.....We were fighting a war on drugs especially heroine suddenly banning guns from good people became a priority and worries about the tempature cooking us and legalizing dope are more important ...l guess the heroine stopped killing thousands of people suddenly now we realized that we don't even need the police! I'm glad someone has finally got the important priorities in good order l was really worried now l can breathe!

Re: trail cameras
I'd move. Is that on all lands, or just public land?

Cameras, along with baiting and permanent stands, are banned on most public lands around here. Though it's nothing special about cameras. They don't allow private property to be left on public property.

I propose a ban on "Stupid People"!! Ron White is absolutely correct..."You can't fix stupid"...

You know there is a difference between being ignorant, and being stupid. Being ignorant is a simple thing. You've NEVER been taught what is right or correct, therefore, you simply don't know and will make mistakes or errors from time to time.
Being stupid is having been taught better, but yet chooing to do asinine idiotic things and call them correct!! :?

I belive that an individual must be able to pass a "common sense" test before being allowed to speak or make decisions for other people.
And just remember this folks...more than likely you voted for these people to be in office! You get what you pay for!! :eusa-think:

First of all - the trail camera ban seems ridiculous. Trail cameras don't give hunters any significant advantage, they are just a tool to assess what is present in a given area. Banning them just takes some enjoyment from people who use them while having little or no effect on game harvests.

I'm not as sure on where I stand on the forest closures. The men and women who have to fight forest fires have to face great danger under horrible conditions. When the state is extra ripe for a fire - and - knowing what we know about careless and irresponsible people - the case for the closures may make some sense.

Camera thing is mostly a guide thing. Certain units with the best big bulls and bucks will have numerous tanks with literally dozens of cameras at each one.

Lots of people complaining. Unfair advantages over a DIY hunter doesn't have a fair chance. Etc ranches complaining about disturbed livestock

So instead of fixing the issue. They did a total ban.
. Really uniforceable and a waste of valuable resources, like wardens trying to do their jobs.

How they gonna prove a dead animal was killed by. A hunter with a picture of it in the wild.

Laws and Regulations are in place to assist us, "we the people" in keeping a certain segment of our society "in check", if you will. :eusa-think:
It's like the old cliche', "Locks only work to keep honest people out".

Look at all the different gun laws in this country. Cites with the stricties laws have the highest incidents of gun violence.
Laws and Regulations have no effect on those WILLING to break the law. :eusa-naughty:
They simply punish the law-abiding.

Politicions make more laws thinking that perhaps one day, criminals will comply voluntarily. :eusa-snooty:
Hence the stupidity of hiring 'self-proclaimed experts" to guide us in what we do. When actually what we need are people with "common sense" to lead by example.

I can see a case for "Camera Rules" say on BLM Land. But NOT on private land.

Trying to put everyone on an even footing makes sense to the us, the DIY Hunters. Simple solution is this. If you make your living as an Outfitter, you are limited to 2 or 3 cameras per section of land or game management unit. All game cameras must be registered with the Game Wardens. Both private and professional. Wardens can then check ownership of cameras. Those found in vioaltion lose "camera rights" for a 2 year period. Those found breaking that law on a 2nd offense, lose ALL hunting privilidges for 5 years. No Excuses. No Exceptions.

Simple and effective way to stop Outfitters from "hogging" an area.

Just the ramblings of an East Texas Redneck.

I'm guessing they are hoping the" law abiding" hunters and guides will try to follow the rules.
Unreasonable guidelines for most to accept.

Its not a law because G$F CANT MAKE LAWS.
