Maby l should have posted this before l pulled the trigger but l gotstid one coming saw all the videos etc. But no one l know has one.
My one stand is a 400 yard drag on sandy soil and really friction filled .l was using a kids roll up plastic snow sled ... wasn't too bad but l was hoping the cart would be an upgrade.
My other drag involves a mile in a swamp blow downs etc. But I'm hoping the rotation of the wheel carriages will take care of the logs as in videos.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Joe z
Someone suggested wire tying the carcass to the cart so it stays in ....seems logical .

Please let us know your thoughts on it once you've had a chance to check it out. The design definitely intrigues me.

I don't need one but that thing sure looks well designed and a good value at the price. I don't blame you for ordering one. If they're as good as they look, they might run out of them.

Re: Hawk crawler deer cart
2 years ago I upgraded to the HAWK Crawler and could not be happier . Next day I gave my 2 wheeled Cabelas cart to the young brothers up the road that hunt and needed an upgrade to dragging deer out of the woods
Even my 135 lb wife puller her own deer out of the woods with the Crawler.
What's nice is you can push or pull it and it goes over logs without tipping pretty easy.

Re: Hawk crawler deer cart
To date we have hauled out 9 deer without a hiccup! Hauled in 5 ladder stands, and used it for yard work, very well made!
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!
Re: Hawk crawler deer cart
I have pulled out 3 deer with mine by myself in pretty steep heavily wooded areas. In a few places with my old 2 wheel cart I would have had to unload the deer to get past a barrier then reload it to continue. With the crawler I was able to just drag it over the blow downs, etc. and keep on going. Being 71 it is hard to get a deer out for me with no help.

Norm's Crawler. Ordered my own the next week. If you can drag it through Temagami bush you can drag it anywhere.

I really like the looks of that thing. I think once I move back to the flatter hunting grounds in Arkansas, it'll be on my short list. Around here, there is just too much elevation change for anything that has wheels and no brakes. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I can tell you all about elevation changes. My Hawk Crawler brought this buck out last year with help from a friend. It was so steep that had his antler not caught on that tree he would have slid another 100 to 150 yards straight down the wrong way. I had to tie him to the tree before I could gut him.DuckHunt wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 5:21 pmI really like the looks of that thing.
