String problem, equinox, sound suppressor, brace height.

I have a problem with my equinox. The string (1994) is too short. I add a string shock sound suppression system, and the string is 5/8 "from the bumpers. I have 3 strings and all are the same length. Also the height of the spacer is from 1 5/8, well in excess of the 0.5 to 1 "specifications.
All 1994 strings I have are 35 "long, not 35.5" long.
I know what to do!

J'ai un problème avec mon équinoxe. La chaîne (1994) est trop courte. J'ajoute un système de suppression du son de choc de corde, et la corde est à 5/8" des pare-chocs. J'ai 3 cordes et toutes ont la même longueur. De plus, la hauteur de l'entretoise est de 1 5/8, bien au-delà du 0,5 à 1" spécifications.
Toutes les cordes de 1994 que j'ai ont une longueur de 35", et non de 35,5".
Je sais pas quoi faire !

You have a dacron string. Dacron strings like crazy. They should have several twists and first installed 3/4" from the bumpers. You need to shoot it to get the string to stop creeping.

If you want a string to stop creeping in less than 50 shots, you should have bought a fancy custom string made out of more modern string material where the string maker took a lot of extra effort to get the creep out of the string.
I haven't used a dacron string since the late 90s. It is terribly elastic and exhibits a terrible amount of creep. Lube up your serving, do as I suggested earlier and keep shooting.
