O/T Rainbow Bridge Little Abby

Post by vixenmaster »

Once again i have had one of my Children cross the Rainbow Bridge at noon today. Abby n i walked our last walk along the lake n up the hill then back down to the Skoolie. I had to pick her up the last 30-35 yds. held her as i came in the door. Put her down on the bed, she was starting to cry. We called the Vet. took her in n had her put down. I held her drowning the poor babys neck n head with my tears. She was so tired n in so much pain, we had to let her go. I /we are having her cremated just like we did Gussie Darlin. Our other 2 will also get the same. Its so empty here in the Skoolie without them. My Josey pie has been looking for Abby all afternoon, she is back on Mama's bed where Abby slept. She laying there n snuffing the scent n whining. My Little Abby is pain free, no more pityful crying. I'm sure Abby n Gussie are running together n waiting on the rest of us to join them.

Mike your dogs were very lucky to have someone like you to love and care for them. It's a very sad time when we lose one of our pets.
You'll be in our prayers

That is why I no longer own a dog. When I put down my last one I said never again. It just hurt too damn bad. Sorry about your loss Mike.

Thank y'all kindly for the posts. It's tough to hold one of your furbaby children as their last breath slips out n their body relaxes from all their pain. It will rip your heart out, i have 2 reoccuring nightmares now. Gussie Darlin death n now Little Abby's
