A big bodied buck up here in the north woods of New England would go 200 lbs+
Heavy for his rack… looked to be a three year old… should have had better horns! One of the reasons I shot him. We get big bucks in the 190 to 200lb range.
Nice! I wasn’t aware that “southern” deer got that heavy! Are we talking dressed weight or on the hoof? My reference to our deer was to dressed weight.
