Excalibur is using "high output expres limbs' for their new and fast crossbows.
I found this on the forum: (2019)
Quote:
"We are always making small in line changes to improve our products. We have made some small changes to the matrix limb. The base of the limb that goes into the pocket is slightly thicker and the radius on the edge of the limb is now molded instead of sanded off."
New limbs are available for $200.00 per set.
Now I wondering....
1. Do these new limbs fit on older models, like the Matrix 330 - 380? (or other models?)
2. What do you gain (FPS) if you change the limbs to the newer and stronger limbs?
3. Is there something known about their reliability?

Re: High Output Express Limbs
The High Output Express Limbs only fit in the Micro Assassin 400TD and Micro Suppressor 400TD.
Those are the only 2 models with limbs made with that construction method. Though they have made many incremental improvements to the other limbs as well.

You are asking about two different limbs. The Express and the CRT2 limbsTroubleshooter wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 9:00 am

The "high output Express" limbs on the 400 micros does NOT fit regular micro risers. And are also not available for purchase.
The new CRT2 limbs they are referencing in the second half of that quote do fit. They often require minor fitting of the older rises but they fit. They are now standard issue on the matrix and micro lineup. They typically add about 5 fps, and have proven to be reliable.
