Congrats on the first. Hunting on the ground, 15 yards is right in your lap. Great job because a lot can go wrong when they get that close.

I went back today to chop my arrow out of the tree and took my range finder to check distance (I had it with me Saturday but knew she was within 20yds.) The shot was 10yds.to my right broad side. The arrow is toast.
I am very pleased with shooting a Doe for my first crossbow kill I don't hunt for trophies it's all about meat in the freezer.
