I've been wondering why my Dad hasn't been deer hunting much and hasn't got a deer yet. We got a power crank for him and he can get into our spot by himself. Today was my first chance to hunt. Dad told me that a certain buck had been showing up every morning and he was saving him for me! My 16th Birthday is in a few days, so my Dad left this spot alone and just monitored the camera that showed this buck. Well after just an hour out there the buck came in at 20 yards and I got him with my vertical bow. He didn't go more than 50 feet after being shot. When I called my Dad to come get me and the deer, he showed up with a green F 250. I wondered who's truck it was and he said "Happy Birthday"! Wow, what a birthday it is. My Dad is awesome too! I can't believe I've been with you guys since I was just 9 years old!

Congrats! You must have hit the 10 ring to get him down that quick. Great shot. A little deer blood is the perfect way to break in a new truck.

Happy birthday I'm glad your dad and life is going in a up direction now .
Congratulations on the deer and truck.my first truck was a used datson 720 truck .....yep dating myself ...but that truck had awsome memories of being independent and having been able to take myself hunting and fishing and to work it was a great time ,enjoy and be safe your gonna need gas money to feed that monster especially with this......aww don't want to talk about that now. Happy birthday!
