I went out Monday in a stiff gusting wind, though I seldom see anything in those conditions. I had two small bucks and a bear in bow range in a half hour span. All of them came from upwind and were walking downwind which caught me by surprise. Other than that one day, I really haven't seen much movement here yet. We're getting close, but I just don't think its cold enough. Our high temps are dropping, but our overnight lows haven't been below 45F here yet and only below 50F a few times. I've got five more days of bow season and may only get out once more due to work and weather. I'm really looking forward to things cooling down to get bigger bucks moving. I'm yet to see a new buck on cameras which would tell me they are starting to roam. I'm also hoping to see the two biggest that were on my hit list as I haven't got of a pic of either of them since early July.

Good luck everyone. The next 3-4 weeks are my favorite time of the year.
