Pickup Tent Update

Post by ko4nrbs »

Used the new pickup tent on my recent trip. It sets up easily and didn't leak during a moderate rain storm. I did have the rain fly on. I do plan on putting a rug on the floor alongside my cot to keep my feet warm when I get up. This morning temp was about freezing so I opened the tent's door some and lit my single burner propane stove while I got dressed. Man what a difference!!

I left it on my truck when I drove about a mile or so to the 3 mile dirt road to the hunt area. I kept the speed at 30-35 mph and had no problems. On the dirt road went about 15-20 mph. Nice not have to take it down every morning to go hunting.

Some people have had problems with the tent poles breaking but mine worked great. I do have a lot of experience using those fiberglass poles in my ground blinds.

I would buy it again!!

Glad you’re doing what you want to do. Sounds like a nice setup.
