Nope, but you can get a great deal on a used one in most cases. My Matrix 380 has been very good to me.

Both Matrix and Micros suffered in the past with limbs folding. Limbs have been updated a few years ago and you don’t see many complaints with newer bows that have the updated limbs. If you buy a used Matrix or Micro you could be getting one with old limbs. I bought a 355 Suppressor (micro) and the limbs were not updated. They of course splintered pretty badly after several hundred shots.
Edit:The 355 I bought was new from Danny Miller and it was returned to Excalibur new in the box from a big box retailer.

I haven't had any issues with any of my Micros. As far as eating the string? I have no clue about that because my TriggerTech triggers have well polished hooks and using a Boo custom string with NO string or serving issues. Keep the string and serving maintained and they last a very long time! A good suggestion is when you get your new limbs, take a file and file the area of the riser where the limbs sit. This will make for a better fit of the new thicker limbs. Will prevent the limbs from getting marred and and future limb problems.

I always have a backup no matter what it is,I even backup my backup. Only thing I have one of is the wife,One of them is enough

People are recommending used ones because they no longer make a Matrix/Bulldog model in the 380 or under range. Except for the GRZ2 and G340, which are SMF models, and for the price they go for new, you're better off finding a used aluminum rail model.

Hey guys, I’ve been off for a while but I have to say I’ve never had any issues with my micro 335… Is there really a problem with these things going through strings?
