What a great idea! I haven’t used mine for years because of all the noise!
Some people just like stepping on rakes

I was hoping someone would see this and get at least one idea that they could use.

Very handy. And is basically what I use to do.

I went to the Third hand archery stabilizer straps 2 years ago and absolutely 110% recommend them..
I wish I had not waited all those years to get them. I did not think they could be that much better than what I was doing. But they are.

Last season I had to go up and down the tree twice because I dropped my pull rope. I had on insulated bibs and coat. Could not move well and was getting hot . The sun was coming up and I was getting in a hurry. The second trip up I committed the cardinal sin. I did not reattach my harrnees to my tree safety rope. Once I got up to 20 feet I turn to sit down and my knee buckled and I fell into the top section of the climber pushing it to the side almost 1/4 of the way around the tree. Had those stabilizer straps not caught I may not be here today.

They make your stand rock solid when your ready to hunt, I love them things and they are not expensive.

And when you pPack up to leave. You crosshatch ties the upper and lower section together you can even put your pack and then crosshatch to secure them. Lots of YouTube videos on them check it out.

Steve, I would never use a two piece stand without them!

I agree Dan 100%

I didn’t get to go any this year to being down with covid. A lot better now tho.

I would like to try and start hunting from the ground due to health and. Getting older , out of shape etc.
But I do like to be up in a tree. Next year if I hunt my cousins land I will put up a couple ladder stands and leave them up for the season.

I hope your doing better buddy.
