Thank you! I think he is too! He is amazingly confident and calm. So far he's friendly to strange people which is a relief. He comes from a bloodline that produces some freidlndly, some not. I can't wait until he's house trained, the rest is easy and fun!

Are you going to train him to blood track or retrieve?

Although he is a working dog and bred for bite, tracking and obedience (IPO) just like my other 2, I will only do obedience and some bite work. I won't put him in a ring unless he shows great promise. Norm can tell you how much work it is go get them ready to compete. They are hardwired to bite so bite work for recreational purposes is fun! That is until they miss. Some of you guys saw the puncture I got at Boofest. Note to self, wear pants! Bolt has already drawn blood from my nose but that's pretty common with puppies because of stupidity.

I'm trying to imagine a litter of, say, 6 puppies "playing" with each other.

Beautiful pup Boo! His front legs are huge. Looks like they'd support an Ox. Good luck with the training.
Take care

They don't play, they try to kill each other daily. The last one is an example of lack of situational awareness.

This is just what happens when you don't throw a ball for them. It always turns into WWF

:D So that’s what you get when you cross breed a Golden Retriever with a Honey Badger. Cute as heck, but …..man o man. :D

So Bolt is growing! He gets quite excited about smooching. While he's slurping your face he takes the occasional bite on your chin, nose, cheek or ears  I ended up with some swelling and a small infection in my left ear  Worst of all, he has no clue how freaking big he is. I can't count the times he's bruised the family jewels  He weighed in at 26kg/57lb 2 weeks ago at 6 months of age. The best part is that he's my shadow

Awesome looking dog Don. I wouldn't mess with him... :eusa-naughty:
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.
