I have witnessed some amazing deer gymnastics when arrowed.
It is amazing the contortions deer are capable of when shot.

I once arrowed a 6 pt from my treestand and witnessed a complete back flip with the deer expiring on the spot with the front leg wedged under the antler.
Wished I was able to video that in slow motion.

Hope the extraction wasn't to bad.

Hows the lower back today?

It’s good Norm! Thanks for asking! It weighted 210 and the drag was only 40 yards. Life could be much worse!

I don't like to gut my deer on site because it attracts coyotes or stinking bears, so I took it home whole. It weighed 210 lbs. I'm getting a western/European mount. I'll show pics when I get it back.
