I knew the shot may be chancy because of how he behaved coming in but I am still amazed at how much he contorted on the shot at 40 yards while he was eating. He almost got away! I was aiming for just above his elbow and the arrow entered 4” below the top of his back. I was sure he wouldn’t react so quickly but I was wrong! Lesson learned!

Nice one Mr. Don! At -5 I’d shoot the first buck I see! My deer hunt was about 85 degrees. Very cool snow there!

Beauty buck!

You had better day than me. I was overrun with squirrels! Lol

On a sad side note it was my last hunt in my best hunting property. The landowners son took the property over and doesn't want anyone hunting it. Still stings!!! Time to find another property I guess.. :(
