That would be wonderful news if it works. It might also herald hope for mad cow disease and even some human diseases.

Interesting....I wish they explained how it works or potentially would work. If the prion theory is true they would have to know how to prevent it from "folding". There is the one researcher at Mississippi State that says its a bacteria.
Found this just now....it's from 2015, so thats a little disappointing in that we haven't heard of any vaccine in the last 6-7 years

My concern is that if one is developed will it make the deer unsafe to consume by humans.
I not very trust worthy when it comes to things like this story. All it takes is a PETA loving scientist involvement or the likes to add to or developed a vaccine with the intent to discourage or stop deer hunting as well as prevent CWD.
