Jeez Don, hope she recovers quickly!
Thanks Dan, I'm getting tired of household chores! I can't fold laundry or cook for beans! I don't have a clue where all that stuff goes from the dishwasher! Next will be grocery shopping! :wtf: I am beginning to appreciate some of the finer points of my wife! :shifty:

I am unsure how the early part of my hunting is going to be like. Two of My Malinois who weight 55 and 60+ lbs ran into my wife at full tilt. She was hit so hard her head hit the ground and she needed multiple plates to repair the 4 nasty fractures. She can't put any pressure on her foot for at least 6 more weeks. I was hoping to finish my kill plot and do some other work on that property last week but it's a we shall see thing now. Argh!
Needless to say, she needs help for every thing right now. Not that I'm not happy to do whatever she needs but...... On the other hand and hit like that could have had more grave consequences.
Don i am so sorry to hear Karen was injured. Hope n pray for her full recovery

Ouch! Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Our 90# Coon Hound+BlueTick mix hit my Mom at full tilt the same way. It looked like a Marmaduke cartoon. She fared a little better, but ended up flat of her back for three weeks while the discs in her back recovered. Fast dogs pack a punch.

Hate to hear that Don. I hope she heals fast. Head wounds are nothing to mess around with. Prayers sent.

After rereading my post I realized that it did send the wrong message. It is her ankle that has the 4 fractures, not her head. The mention of her head was to explain that her legs were hit so hard that went into the air and landed at an angle hitting the ground with her head first. It was like a low football tackle or block. There are no head injuries. Besides, when she goes at things, its head first so that German head of hers is pretty tough.
Sorry guys!

Hope she heals quickly Boo. Nothin worse than not having the lady of the house to keep us from reverting back to caveman living.
Take care

I'm glad to read it was her ankle and not her head. In time she'll be fine. I have two rambunctious bird dogs that have collided with me before. It can be hard to stay on your feet. Good luck with everything.

All necessary tags secured for deer archery and black powder hunting.

Now I need to get multiple projects done to free myself up to hunt. :)
