That's a heck of a Deer for sure.
Being just south of Oklahoma, we here in Texas see a lot of good Deer taken in Oklahoma every year. No wonder it has the reputation of being one of the great "sleeper" states for good Whitetails. :eusa-shhh:
Yes sir, I live in east TX but own a house and land in NW Oklahoma. My family has bird hunted up there since I was a kid, but we didn’t start deer hunting up there until 20 years ago. I’m spoiled now and don’t even really hunt in TX anymore.
I fully understand. Me and a couple of crazy buddies have been contemplating trying to find a place to lease in Oklahoma.
Are y'all above Tulsa?

My place is 50 miles west of I-35 and about 10 miles south of Kansas. Lease prices in Oklahoma have gotten ridiculous the last couple years. I’ve heard of guys paying over $20/acre.

Great buck! We have good deer hunting where I hunt, but we rarely see bucks like you kill every year. Nice going.
