If they was to move i would hope they are smart enough to take Dawn with them, she is there customer service.
That's a definite!! Dawn is a true asset to Excalibur.

While that may be true, it’s going to be pretty difficult to replace, in particular, Kevin, the production manager, limb maker and the main engineer. I’ve known these guys and I can tell you that they are the pillars of the works. They will not be able to be replaced easily. They all own and hunt with Excaliburs so they understand the product better than most.

That would literally be as detrimental as when the Marlin plant left New Haven. Some 13 years later and it's still not an accurate representation of the previous brand name and quality.

Perhaps they had second thoughts after a few responses!

I'd just hate to see them relocate. Good people with a very good product!
A company can go anywhere, but good people are hard to find!!

I seem to recall a number of years back a Chinese Excalibur clone.

I wonder how it worked out for them?

From what I've gathered they already do a fair amount of warranty work out of their Port Huron location. But would be a bummer for you Canadians if they moved production out of Kitchener. Hopefully they are just gathering useful info, and keep production there, where it began.
Resurrecting old thread to ask a non-survey question. Does Excalibur still have their warranty center in Port Huron? I would rather dropoff my crossbow for limb replacement than mail it to them. Anybody know whether they accept customers at warranty center?
