South Carolina wants all the deer dead… Clemson just did a big study on it … crops… deer vs. vehicles… it’s absolutely open season on the ol’ Whitetail here. Of course that makes killing a nice buck pretty difficult. Not to mention, most rednecks around here have a brown and down mentality. So… if I see a deer I like… I pull the trigger!!

Congratulations a nice way to break the ice !
I take it your Bushnell scope is a Standard rifle scope?
If so what yardage do you sight in the crosshairs for ?
I was considering giving the 25 yard sight in a try and fudging the rest of the distances.

The Bushnell’s are very nice… this is the circle x reticle… on my slow Ibex, I set dead center at 20 yards… the bottom of the circle x is dead on at 25 yards… which for all intents and purposes is about max for bowhunting.

Wow, crazy early start to the season. Had no idea some states started this early. Nice shooting!

Congratulations!! Glad there is will cool weather out there somewhere. Seems like it has been 100+ degrees for ever. Must admit though, if the season started tomorrow, I would be out there!
