Re: Scope recommendation
If you can find a NIKON Bolt, grab it. Perfect scope for the 335.

Re: Scope recommendation
Assuming you’re eyes are young, a Vortex Crossfire 2 Crossbow Scope may be ideal. Failing that, the Tactzone seems pretty popular.

Re: Scope recommendation
Vortex viper xbr or leupold crossbones are the 2 best ever made imo

Re: Scope recommendation
Above is TRUE! Vortex is a large ,fairly heavy scope with LOTS of features and great glass. Leupold is much smaller and lighter with great glass and is very bright. However it is not illuminated. The world is a compromise. Both have been available in ebay within in last two months for a better than fair price. you just have to look. Nikon Bolt is also a good scope although not adjustable for speed. I am not a big fan of Chinese scopes. Good luck in your search.

Re: Scope recommendation
Yes Bolt is made in Phippines. That’s why I gave it a recommendation. Don’t do that w Chinese. The Chinese scopes work great…. Until they don’t . Re: Scope recommendation
.....I have both the Leupold Crossbones (not made anymore and not so easy to find a used one) and Hawke on my crossbow's....happy with both of them...I have no problem with them not being illuminated....after all what did everyone do before illumination?
.....for me, the fact of no illumination and being in the woods gives me a fairly good idea of when it is getting too dark....both from a shooting point and having to look for a a shot animal....but that's me...not worthy of me debating...it is just what I do....
I had the Vortex....too heavy for me and it was sold to I believe Carnivorous....also, I felt the reticle was too busy for my eyes and brain....
....as with anything else, you have to see what works for you!

Re: Scope recommendation
I have tried a variety, but I have to say the Nikon Bolt has been my favorite for hunting with.
Removed link, it was bogus.
