Bull Dog 400 Limb Fracture

Post by Buckfever »

Today was opening day of the bow season and when I strung my crossbow, the right limb cracked about midway, just as I got it cocked.

Was a little stressful decocking as I thought it was going to let loose, but no problem.

Does anyone know where I could get a new limb or two new limbs? What limbs would be OK? I heard the 440 limbs may fit also.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Call excalibur customer service. You will have new limbs sent to you in a few days.

Wow that would be great! Thank you. It's 6 years old I would imagine I would have to pay for them?

Send them a pic, they will replace free.

Would be good idea to buy a second set of blems and not have any down time .

440 limbs won't fit without fitting the riser to them and getting longer ferruls under the straps. Then you'll need a proper crank.
Probably easier to just buy a 440, but then your into a new territory of bow all together.

My advice ... chopp the 400 down the a sweel full camo bulldog micro. But that's just me.
