16.5 arrows, and either.

I personally like the Black Eagles aluminum rear nocks because they have a nice radius on the edge that is easy on your string serving. I also like the shorter arrows to prevent the broadhead from hanging into the stirrup area.

I was thinking f excalibur quills but decided on BLACK EAGLE EXECUTIONER .001 ARROW SHAFTS 16 1/2" with 110gr brass inserts + flat aluminum nocks + 150gr boltcutters + 2" vanes - any suggestions on this setup - longer vanes - lighter inserts or any other change

Sounds like a solid setup already. I like a lot of weight up front and would use 125 grain heads. Good luck!

I always want my bolt and broadhead combo to extend as far into the stirrup as possible without extending out the far side .
This does 2 things when I un cock the bow after a hunt I can not get my foot in the stirrup with out hitting the bolt I almost ran a broadhead through my foot with a short bolt years ago, the second thing is it adds weight to the bolt and heavy bolts are a good thing .

For deer I would go with a 150 gr Tooth of the Arrow Broadhead or the 150 gr Slick Trick.
They have a bigger cut than the Bolt cutters.

Either nock is fine., Aluminum at a slightly higher pricepoint
expected.

The custom route is a good option because the 16.5 factory arrow will still have stirrup overhang.

14" to 14.5" is better suited for the MA. A shorter BH is suggested also, like the TOTA noted above.
