30 watt soldering iron. About 6 dollars at Walmart. Thread 8-32 with a die. The tips are copper so easy to thread.
Firebolt insert removed.
Goes pretty fast. A 40-watt soldering iron would probably be better to speed up the process but this one does do it pretty quick.
Keep constant force pulling on the insert as the iron heats up. No need to use more heat than it takes to release the adhesive.

I will get an 8-32 screw the proper length, cut it off and screw it into the soldering iron for removing the broadhead inserts.
