I have scouted a couple of new spots today and except for hog sign there is nothing. As late as it is I would think I would be seeing scrapes and rubs. The past two years the woods in the refuge were full of scrapes and rubs by now. No idea why it is so late this year. I will keep plugging away. No more deer seen since I killed the spike. Plan on trying my other spot Thursday. Saw a huge buck in there two years ago but too far away for a shot.
