How to identify difference between Micro 315 and 335

how do you tell if I have a micro 315 or first generation Micro 335 . I didn’t get an owners manual with it . the rail is metal and an anodized slate grey , The risers have a half cup machined into them ? Any help,would be greatly appreciated

Your mainframe will measure 15 3/4”at its longest length if it’s a 315

First gen 335s and 315s have the same length mainframe. The riser looks different. The 315 has more open holes thought out. Google a 315 riser, and if it doesn't look like that, it's likely a 335.

Here, this is a gen1 riser from a 335. All other gens physically look the same.
