Snow storm!

Post by Riflemanz »

Getting hammered with snow today and it will screw up my late season hunting with over a foot of snow on the ground. Then it’s supposed to drop to — temperatures.
I hope it warms up after that. Anyone else getting hammered?

We are on the South edge of it Steve, snowed hard for a while, then rain, now it's turning back to snow, we'll see. Good luck, next week is gonna be cold.

It's 68 F. and comfortable where I am right now. Unfortunately, it's 9F. and windy outside. Our season ends Monday, but up where hunt it's supposed to be -11F. tonight and -8F. tomorrow night with a high of 3F. both days. Our deer are fat from eating crops for months and will probably lay low and out the wind fora few days. I'm not going out to suffer in this cold air on the off chance that a deer may wander by and give me a shot.

I'm going to wait a few days until it starts to warm up a little and take advantage of a rare chance to go ice fishing. Fresh bluegill fillets taste great in January!
