Last day successful hunt

Today was the last day of archery this morning l did some slow stalking /drives for my brother pushing 19 doe and 0 bucks past him neither of us have a doe tag only buck tags.
It was a lot of fun Temps we're in the 50s so no freezing.
I decided to go back out this evening and after seeing some more doe and a fox I was reflecting on my season and how l basically spent it hunting for my giant buck that I haven't seen since Oct 19th.
I had no regrets on my decisions and hunting stand picks
During the last 15 minutes of daylight ..I forgot to mention l was in the ghosblind this nice buck is walking right towards me at 25 yards it was an instant decision to shoot and tonight the little vixen and a zombie tipped with a left over shwacker hybrid wacked him in the throat patch and spine dropping him instantly.
It all happened so fast it was crazy.
He's a beautiful buck that l never saw before not my giant but probably one of his kids with the weird double beam thing.
I shot a twin to this buck about 5 years ago it's definitely in the gene pool.
Easy drag 20 yards out of the industrial park to the truck...its the little things that make a hunter happy lol.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix, sapphire, matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs, leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.

Great buck!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.
