I congratulate you on your effort to remember those brave souls that sacrificed their lives for on June 6th.
And for all the brave men who kept us free.
May we remember both Americans and Canadians as well as other Nations

I've been to Juneau beach as well as Omaha beach and the museum commemorating the Canadians bloody fight to take Juneau, plus the beautiful (but overwhelming) cemetery where so many US soldiers are buried near Omaha beach.
These guys were normal citizens who rose up and did what they had to do under extreme danger. They did so much more than I did as a trained soldier who never left the USA.
My father and nearly every one of his friends (that I knew) were veterans of that war. Every year I become more admiring and grateful for what they did.
