Cabelas & Bass Pro

Post by DuckHunt »

I bought my first Excalibur at a Bass Pro in 2006. They certainly still stock Excalibur crossbows. But did anyone else notice that there aren't any Excalibur crossbows in the fall Bass Pro/Cabelas hunting catalog or even the Archery catalog either. A lot of other brands are in there, but nothing from Excalibur.

That's crazy! Maybe they are in the middle of repopulating their catalogue? They have 10 listed in the Canadian Cabelas https://www.cabelas.ca/category/crossbows/1268?brand=EXCALIBUR
The odd thing is that Excalibur far more bows in Canada than in the US. Ontario along probably amounts to a whack more than all of the US and our population is a little more than 1/10 of the US. Most of our crossbow hunters are in Ontario and Quebec and it is illegal to hunt with a crossbow in Alberta unless you have a Dr's note. Go figure!

In my area, I can only think of one guy who doesn't use an Excalibur
