Finally Bought A Exocet

Post by Tail Drop »

Well I finally bought myself a exocet, after lurking on this website for a while and reading all the great posts I decided on a Excalibur, I think it was the right decision, the old Barnet just was not doing it anymore!

Hi Taildrop, good choice on the Exocet and welcome to the forum. I too live in Napanee. Where abouts in Napanee are you located? If your interested we have a club and we shoot every Tuesday night, good practice and a little fun. Lots of coffee to drink and alot of hunt'in stories to share. Our club is called Boundary Bait and Bow and I am one of the Boundary Boyz. We sell Excal"s and equipment and have indoor ranges as well as a great outdoor 3D course.

Good hunt'in Butt

My Exocet is the only crossbow I've owned, but I can say without a doubt................It's AWESOME! Last weekend I sighted it in to make sure the scope was still on and I was getting 2 inch groupings at 30 yards. One bolt at a time of course. Don't want to destroy them  .

Now if the deer would just come into that 30 yard range, I'd be a happy man!!! Getting some good days in the field anyway, which is what really matters.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

Ecoaster, I like that, Hunt for the memories the meat is a bonus, how true that is ( for some of us) like the fishing one, many men go fishing not realilizing it's not the fish they are after.
