Just gained access to 250 acres.........
Of cotton field! The property is only about 4 miles from my house, which is great. I am used to having to drive for a hour to hunt. The only huntable feature is a creek bottom that runs across the length of the field. I scouted it yesterday and sure enough, the deer are walking up and down the creek side. It gets very, very thick towards the back of the field, so thick it forces them out to the edge. Now if only santa will bring me a new loc on stand!
