New Year's resolution time...

Post by Woody Williams »

Well, what's it going to be this year?

Last year my New Year's resolution was to loose some weight - right after our vacation in February.

I accomplished that goal of dropping from 199 1/2 down to 171.

Atkins all the way. I love that diet..

Now this year's resolution is to keep it off which I have done so far.

Also to devote more time to my church. We got a new pastor that is a go getter and he is really enthusing us to do more.

My resolution is: I will have a crossbow in time for next year. Waiting for Lebarons to have another tax off sale, I will be getting the Exocet. Been reading here to learn about xbows, etc - thanks for the free education!

Merry Christmas

I'd like to keep a positive attitude and maintain a good focus on school. With that said, watching my weight and being more co opperative with my folks is also something i wish to improve.

Not to mention my shooting.. Need to hunt with some other hunters to learn skills they may have rather than myself.

Happy New Year to all.

I'm with wildwindom with the smoking issue. Along with having a 4 month old now, they're killing my bank account and I'm pretty sure it's not helping my deer hunting. I don't smoke in my stand, but once I have some that day, it's on my clothes for sure.

I resolve to stop smoking...oops, I can't use that one because I never started. Maybe I'll lose some weight.....nah, I like my sweets too much for that and besides you can't drive a spike with a tack hammer!

I resolve to support any company that works to develop an atomic bomb that will target specifically any spyware, adware, virus generating individual on the web. I just spent 2 hours cleaning crap off my PC.

Seriously though, more kid time, more field time and more dog time in 2005. Also working towards a Florida/Disneyworld trip for the kids....no promises yet but it is a target.

Resolve that far right religious wackos keep their self promoting prayer services off this site. Keep it in your church where it belongs, not here.

thanks ewe.

I resolve to have a more tolerant attitude toward people like "Guest" and to pray for them, as it is evident that they have problems.

My New Years resolution is to start my own business. And I finally got a glimpse of what so far had been a ghost deer, although he acted much like a ghost and disappeared when I saw him, a couple of weeks ago. He is currently the largest deer I have seen, even bigger than the one I saw during shotgun season. He is 10-12 points with really good height. My knees started shaking as soon as I saw him. I guess still hunting within ten yards of him will do that.

I'm also hoping this is the year that I get myself a red-tailed hawk and get involved in falconry.
