It was a terrific year!

I managed to take 2 doe and two bucks (a 4 point & a 6 point ) with my exomag.

During the gun season I bagged 3 doe with my Remington 1187 shotgun!

All were taken in Michigan, while still trying to bag only bucks in Ontario.

A large 10 point eluded me the entire season, twice we came within range but I had the wrong tool in my hands.

Here's hoping it is even bigger next year, the next time I will be ready for him!

Only got away for 2 afternoons with the Xbow, just to busy this fall.

Hunted several full days with rifle on our property, but just didn't see any bucks bigger than the ones I've already got over the years. Let many of them walk. Ended the year with a beautiful fat doe, placed the shot in the head, clean, quick, effective kill.

Just being in the outdoors, is the big plus for me.

Got my first Ontario and crossbow deer with my Exocet with only 3 days left in the season. It was a beauty doe. Filled my freezer and lots of good memories too :D .

ecoaster: Where are you from and when did you move to Ontario? I moved from NS in 1999, and go back every couple of years for a hunt with the family. I've had some good luck hunting in Ontario...many more deer here, and easier hunting b/c of lack of thick "woods".

BTW: I shot a yearling and a nice 9 point in Oct, and a fork-horn in early December. A great year!!

Couldn't get any horns this year. I took the only deer I saw for the week with the rifle. Turned out to be a buck fawn. Took three does with the Exocet. Waited until the second last day to get the last two. Filled my last tag and my brothers doe only tag.
